On Saturday 4 July 2021 we sang for the first time in public since 14 March 2020. This was at the Drakelow Community Event at Drakelow, near Burton upon Trent. It was wondeful to be all singing together again after the Covid-19 pandemic restrictions eased.
We sang excerpts from Les Misérables and Oh Happy Day.
We had the added effort of learning all the words so there was no singing from copies.
After the gig we had a lovely party in Carol Kobylanski's garden - again great to be able to celebrate together again.
