We have been invited by our accompanist, The Reverend Dr Stanley Monkhouse, to sing at this annual Christian festival in his home church of St Paul's in Burton.
We will be singing the Kyrie, the Sanctus and the Agnus Dei from William Byrd's Mass along with his beautiful Ave Verum Corpus. A small group of us will be singing the Benedictus. We will also be singing Edward Bairstow's Let all Mortal Flesh Keep Silence plus other pieces and hymns.
The performance starts at 7:30pm. Please arrive early to ensure a good seat.
Afterwards there will be drinks and nibbles.
